Ajia has been a great compliment to my strength, conditioning, and smart approach to exercise and fitness. I've never met anyone so psyched about workouts and it shows when she leads you through the sessions. When I first started working with her, I was expecting just the weekly personal workout routine. What I got was much more. She cares about my progress, checks in frequently to see how I am doing, and adjusts to target needs and goals. Prior to working with Ajia, I only had a couple of workout routines. She changed that and throws all the variety at you......no dull routine, that's for sure.

I’ve had the pleasure to watch Ajia run workshops and talk about exciting new activities, like fit walks and “bride to be” workouts. It took me many years to finally try her as my personal trainer. I noticed a huge difference within a few sessions. It’s nice to have someone you talk to on a regular basis be the person helping you improve your health. As an active competitor in the equine sport of Eventing, being physically fit is important, especially as I move up through higher levels of competition. I'm an older competitor and have suffered several injuries that required extensive rehabilitation. Both have taken a toll on my overall fitness. For many years I have struggled with physical fitness – especially over the winter. Spring would come, I’d want to ride my horse and be active outdoors and I’d be weak with limited energy. It was a depressing cycle. I tried going to the gym, but I honestly didn’t really didn’t know what I was doing there. I had no real plan and it just felt like an uncomfortable waste of time. Using a personal trainer didn’t really occur to me as I had the impression that was something for rich people, or those that were already super fit. Plus, my schedule just wouldn’t allow driving to a place to meet somebody several times a week. But then I found Ajia Clancy and everything changed! Being able to meet with Ajia virtually has been a game changer. I can be in the comfort of my home on a schedule that fits my life and my goals. No fancy gym equipment needed – Ajia is so creative and plans a great workout no matter what you have. It’s always interesting to see what she comes up with. She also meets you at your level with your goals in mind. I was worried that I would feel self-conscious about my lack of fitness or limitations from past injuries, but Ajia is so accepting and positive - I feel completely comfortable. She works with you right where you are and assists you in setting goals that make sense to you. The fact that she is an equestrian is a HUGE bonus to me. She totally gets my sport and what I need to do, not only in the saddle, but around the barn. I also need not have worried about the cost. Her per session cost is totally reasonable and all the support she gives even outside those sessions provides incredible value. And the proof is in the result – this spring I was ready to ride! My first days in the saddle and out working hard around the farm were great. No feeling weak and tired – no stopping to catch my breath. I am excited to continue my wellness journey with Ajia. I highly recommend Ajia for anyone looking to improve their overall health and quality of life.

Wanted to share a moment of joy with you. I had always made it part of my day to give the boys an "upstairs hug" before going to work by scooping them up and holding them tight. I had not been able to do that since 7/22! Today I felt a surge of confidence and strength and surprised each boy with a scooped-up upstairs hug. They each melted in my arms. Using good technique (engage the core, glutes, and quads in concert) as well as the growing strength I've enjoyed under your guidance, I and the boys had a wonderful heartfelt moment we all enjoyed this morning.
